GreenVision Institute (GVI) is a 501c3 nonprofit based in Cleveland, OH and San Francisco, CA. Our vision is the greening of our communities for all kinds of good reasons: environmental, economic, societal, and spiritual.
GVI presently operates Solar College Initiative, Solar Stimulus Initiative, and is in the launching phase of other programs, including Solar Schools Initiative (K-12) and Solar Cities Initiative

Solar Solutions
Our core mission is to facilitate the accelerated solarization of communal institutions that will shape our society into the next decade. Our core strategy is to simplify the process of going solar and make it more economical by:
(a) providing low-cost consulting tailor-made for niche institutions,
(b) arranging financing structures for government and nonprofit institutions that enable them to benefit from renewable energy incentive programs,
(c) procuring high quality solar equipment at low prices through high-volume purchasing and corporate sponsorship.
Our flagship program, Solar College Initiative, founded in November 2008, began a pilot program in Fall 2009.

Solar College Initiative
Solar College Initiative (SCI) is focused on rapidly maximizing the adoption of solar energy on every college and university campus by offering highly specialized consulting services to both simplify the process and make it economically feasible. SCI provides a specialized consulting process for institutions of higher education to rapidly determine and implement the most effective and economically feasible deployment of solar their specific campus. Our team of experts assists each individual college to determine its needs, build stakeholder support, develop an RFP, and negotiate the various avenues of financing to find a feasible solution that best suits the needs of the institution. Solar Stimulus Initiative
GVI's Solar Stimulus Initiative (SSI) is focused on developing actionable stimulus-related information for the solar industry and institutions that could benefit from stimulus funding to deploy solar energy.
